August Summer bank holiday weekend (Friday, 26th - Sunday, 28th) saw the return of the Silverstone Classic Festival at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit, the home of the British Grand Prix, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury.
One of the UK's premier fun-fuelled family festivals and the world's biggest retro racing celebration, the three-day event was host to a record-breaking display of privately-owned classic cars and an incredible line-up of retro racing from all of motor racing's golden eras.
Off-track festivities included fun fair rides, crazy golf and dramatic stunt driving displays, creating a fabulous end-of-summer celebration.
Partnering with the event was Adrian Flux Insurance Services, the UK's largest specialist motor insurance broker covering everything from classic cars to modified sports cars. As part of their partnership, the insurance broker utilised our Statement Plus shipping container conversion for their brand application.
The pop-up activation advertised Adrian Flux Insurance Services. To entice visitors and showcase the type of vehicles the company will insure, Alex Brundle’s latest project, an Mk1 Ford GT40, was exhibited outside the shipping container conversion cluster. Visitors could win an exclusive lap around the Silverstone Circuit.
The brand application had a jam-packed schedule of hosted events, including an interview with Carl Fogarty, the four-time World Superbike Champion. The upper deck provided a place to relax and enjoy the views while listening to the action through the housed speakers.

Recently used by Kwik Fit, Reddit and England's football team, the Statement Plus shipping container conversion cluster has been designed to make a real impact at events.
Statement Plus is built using three converted 20' High Cube shipping containers, creating a large interior space for experiential marketing activities. The upper deck is accessible by an external staircase and provides a space for VIP entertainment, product demonstration or use as a presentation platform.
