Rockstar Energy presents Wireless Festival returned to Finsbury Park last month, Friday, 12th July to Sunday, 14th July, with Nicki Minaj headlining the event.
The Events Structure has attended the festival previously when GoPuff delivered Wireless 2022, hosting "Party. Post. Post." photobooth, phone charging and chill-out area from our Impact Premium and Gallery shipping container conversions.
Last year, we worked with Amazon Music +44 to deliver a backstage activation. This year, we returned to Rockstar Energy presents Wireless Festival with the official digital music streaming partner, Amazon Music +44, with another backstage activation.
Amazon Music +44 is a space to celebrate hip-hop, R&B and Grime music genres, the artists that make the music and the culture behind it by connecting audiences to artists they love via playlists, podcasts and original content.
To deliver this original content to the audiences, Amazon Music +44 hosted a backstage activation using our Impact Premium customised container, with DJ Cuppy leading the way, interviewing stars such as Sean Paul, Strandz, Ruger, Vanessa Bling and Newmuzz after their on-stage performances.
The Impact Premium shipping container was wrapped in iridescent vinyl, which changed colour in different lighting. Inside the shipping container was the filming and capturing of this exclusive content.
Shipping container conversions for production
Shipping container conversions for the assistance of production are increasing in popularity due to the versatility and durability qualities of the steel structures.
The Events Structure are currently touring the UK festival scene with BBC Radio 1 with our custom build shipping container radio studio, with festivals including BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, Parklife, Download Festival, Glastonbury and more.
The mobile container studio is erected in a prime location at each festival, in the centre of the action, assisting with the radio station's live commentary and social media coverage of each festival. The mobility of the structure gives BBC Radio 1 more flexibility with its production.
Using five shipping containers and an upper deck viewing gallery in a similar layout to our Statement Premium customised container cluster, the custom build radio studio for BBC Radio One is a fully operational mobile studio with its own power supply.
The shipping container structure has been modified to include a glass facade to assist BBC Radio 1 with the radio and video commentary of festivals without outside interruption while showing the festival crowd in the backdrop.
Further, the shipping container steel structure ensures the safety of equipment and bodies when in use and when left unassisted overnight. The corrugated exterior complements the festival setting.
