Yesterday, Sunday, 31st July, England took a historic victory over Germany in the women's Euros final, with the Lionesses winning their first major trophy since 1966.
Twenty million fans nationwide roared on the Lionesses in the country's biggest girl power football party ever. Out of the millions, more than 7,000 lionhearts cheered from Trafalgar Square as England reigned champions with a 2-1 triumph.
Those lucky enough to grab a ticket to watch the final in London's Trafalgar Square Euros fan festival celebrated in style, hopping into the fountain to splash around, cheer and jump as the final whistle blew.
Trafalgar Square Women's Euros 2022 fan festival
Between Saturday, 23rd - Sunday, 31st July, Trafalgar Square was transformed into the Women's Euros 2022 fan festival, allowing supporters to immerse themselves in the action, ramping up the excitement ahead of the final.
The fan festival was a free experience, hosting everything to do with football between 11 am and 6 pm. On-site events included a pop-up football pitch where fans could watch exhibition games and take part in coaching sessions, live panel discussions with interviews and music, a twentieth-anniversary screening of box office smash ‘Bend It Like Beckham’, merchandise stalls, food and drink stands, and interactive football-themed sponsor activities.
Three shipping container conversions from the Women's Euros 2022 pre-tournament tour featured in the fan festival, including 'Show Your Skills', 'Show Your Colours' and Visa's championship trophy container.

'Show Your Skills' was a Studio Premium shipping container conversion that allowed visitors to show off their ball tricks, challenging them to score as many points as possible in 60 seconds while wearing bibs provided by the event sponsor Nike.
'Show Your Colours', sponsored by Starling Bank, was another Studio Premium container conversion at the fan festival, inviting visitors to discover their artistic flair by colouring murals, shirts, footballs and flags.
The final shipping container conversion was a Gallery Plus sponsored by Visa that allowed visitors to test their reactions and take a picture with the championship trophy.
