Inside Kiss Radio’s Mobile Brand Activation Across London
Last week we were live across London with Sketch Events and Kiss Radio, delivering a full-day mobile brand activation built around live broadcasting, audience engagement, and high-impact visibility across the city.
Beginning at 6am at the Southbank Centre, the activation transformed our SkyBox exhibition unit into a fully mobile radio studio, wrapped entirely in bold Kiss pink branding and designed to create impact everywhere it travelled.
Throughout the day, the campaign moved across multiple London locations including Battersea Park and Potters Field, combining live DJ broadcasts, audience interaction, content capture, and city-centre visibility within one continuously moving experiential environment.
A Touring Activation Built for Visibility
The activation formed part of Kiss Radio’s rebrand campaign, requiring a structure capable of functioning both as a live broadcast environment and as a highly visible moving brand experience.
Using our SkyBox exhibition unit, the campaign combined mobility, rapid deployment, and visual impact in busy public spaces across London.
The rigid body roadshow truck features a hydraulic transparent rear box that can be elevated to 8 metres, creating visibility both while stationary and in transit. Fully deployed, the structure transformed into a branded live broadcast studio environment capable of attracting attention from multiple viewpoints across each location.
The unit’s 6m x 2.4m demonstration space provided room for live broadcasting, production requirements, branding integration, and content capture throughout the day.
Turning SkyBox Into a Mobile Radio Studio
For this campaign, SkyBox was completely transformed into a moving Kiss Radio broadcast environment.
Wrapped in vibrant hot pink Kiss branding, the structure became impossible to miss as it travelled through central London between live locations.
The structure functioned as a fully operational mobile radio studio and live broadcast environment throughout the campaign.
DJs broadcast live throughout the day directly from the vehicle, including Tyler’s live DJ set and Chloe’s breakfast giveaway segment, helping turn the activation into both a moving advertisement and a functioning live entertainment space.
Designed to deploy quickly between locations, SkyBox allowed the campaign to maintain momentum throughout the day while operating efficiently within busy city-centre environments.
The transparent elevated structure also created strong visual impact for both live audiences and social content, helping the activation stand out within crowded London locations.
Delivering a Live Campaign Across Multiple London Locations
Touring experiential campaigns require far more than visual impact alone.
Behind the scenes, the project involved detailed coordination between locations, live production requirements, deployment schedules, traffic movement, operational timing, and audience engagement throughout the day.
Beginning at the Southbank Centre before moving across London to Battersea Park and Potters Field, the activation needed to function seamlessly both in transit and on-site.
This flexibility is one of the reasons mobile brand activations continue to play an important role in modern experiential marketing campaigns.
Rather than relying on a single fixed location, brands are increasingly looking for ways to create multiple audience touchpoints within one day while generating live content, social engagement, and public visibility simultaneously.
Why Mobile Brand Activations Continue to Grow
Experiential roadshows and mobile brand activations allow campaigns to reach audiences in a more dynamic and flexible way than traditional static event spaces.
Structures like SkyBox combine branding, mobility, live engagement, and operational flexibility within one environment, helping brands create campaigns that work across multiple locations and audience types.
For campaigns involving live broadcasting, content creation, hospitality, product launches, or audience interaction, mobile showroom and roadshow vehicles offer the ability to create impact both while travelling and when deployed on-site.
For the Kiss Radio activation, this combination of movement, visibility, and live entertainment helped turn the campaign into a fully integrated London-wide brand experience.
