Since opening its doors in 2017, the DM Boot Room in Dr Martens flagship Camden store has hosted many intimate gigs. For Summer 2019, Dr Martens took the venue on tour, hitting up festivals Live at Leeds and, most recently, Field Day.
On June 8th, Dr Martens brought the DM Boot Room stage and immersive brand experience to Field Day for a two-day showcase of the most exciting new talent in music. Pushing boundaries and taking place in a new ground-breaking venue at The Drumsheds in North London, the DM Boot Room echoed that ethos.
The DM Boot Room consisted of two Gallery and one Impact event shipping containers. Taking center stage was one of the Gallery containers which provided a platform for bands to perform.
To the left was the Impact container and to the right the second Gallery, both of which housing immersive brand experiences for festival-goers to partake in and learn about Dr Martens rich music heritage in a fun and engaging way. The upper deck allowed invited VIPs a place to unwind and enjoy the live music.
Friday saw Yizzy, Rimon, Tirzah, Brad Stank, Crows and Reprezent FM hit the stage and Saturday saw Flohio, Marika Hackman, Emma-Jean Thackray, Rachel Chinouriri and Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn perform.
