Last September, the London Design Festival returned to the capital for the 19th edition of the event, with a nine-day programme of online and offline installations and exhibitions from top and emerging artists, designers and architects.
London Design Festival 2021 was hosted 18-26th September at Magazine London in Greenwich. The venue is a new purpose-built event space defined by simple architectural form, offering a clean and functional space for large-scale creative expression.
Outside the venue and inviting attendees to the design event was our Studio Premium customised container transformed into a shipping container ticket booth for customers to purchase tickets and gain entry to the exhibition.
Graphic wrapped and branded, the shipping container ticket booth complimented the cutting-edge design of the Magazine London event space and provided the perfect solution to sell tickets. As an extension of the event, the structure ensured queues of attendees remained outside and not inside the exhibition.
Why use a shipping container for your ticket office?
Shipping container ticket offices have the benefit of being portable and easily transported to various sites, ideal for events that span across multiple locations. As the ticket office is a secured storage unit, having the booth closed overnight is achievable without the need for hiring security.
Wind-proof and watertight, shipping container structures ensure all contents inside are safe from all-weather types. Also, shipping container conversions are fully functional modular buildings with their own power supply that can be easily unloaded and assembled on-site, making all locations possible, even remote destinations.
Shipping container ticket booths can be graphic wrapped and branded to the event and application, ensuring the structure is eye-catching for marketing and overall visibility whilst pointing event attendees in the direction of where they need to go.
Shipping container ticket booths can be modified to suit your needs. Depending on your requirements, a disabled ramp can be added for all accessibility.
Other event applications for shipping container structures
Shipping container conversions are ideal ticketing offices to create bookings and check-in. They're also great for use as a display area or merchandise store to display and sell products while leaving room to interact with customers.
Another popular use for shipping container conversions at events is for fan zones and customer engagement areas. For the Cricket World Cup 2019, two Studio and one Impact Premium customised containers were transformed into stages for live entertainment to welcome fans into the events.
Further, shipping container bars and catering units allow events to serve food and drink to attendees both easily and efficiently.
