We have teamed up with consumer complaint organisation Ombudsman Services to take to the road to encourage consumers nationwide to raise complaints about bad service received from energy and communication suppliers. The promotional tour was launched by Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten in Blackpool on 30th January and finishing in Redcar on 26th May.
Ombudsman Services requirements included an easy, accessible and flexible vehicle that will be convenient to tour across the UK, making our state-of-the-art Self-Drive Vehicles a perfect fit for them. As this vehicle eliminates the need for a third-party driver it can reduce operation costs of up to 20-25% and also enable them to run on their own time schedule.
The Self-Drive vehicle allows use of technology such as LED screens and laptops ready for the public to log their complaints immediately. This vehicle creates opportunity for Ombudsman to personalise it in their own branding and design creating onsite attention. The back and side doors open too, creating an open and inviting atmosphere to gain attention from the public.
The combination of all these features of the Self-Drive vehicle allows Ombudsman Services to set up an effective temporary information centre for the public to enter for their queries.
