Shipping container bars are increasing in popularity at festivals and outdoor events, and it's not hard to see why - the modular shipping container structure is fully customisable, demanding complete attention from attendees.
The strong corrugated exterior of the shipping container bar lends itself to festivals and outdoor events. The structure is weatherproof, combating all weathers, rain and shine, and is secure, allowing for the event structure to be locked overnight without the need to hire security.
Further, shipping container conversion bars are easily transportable and have a short set-up time, requiring less than one hour with one person. This efficiency allows multiple events and event tours possible.

More and more brands are opting to use shipping container conversions for their mobile bar and catering unit at festivals and outdoor events - but how does a shipping container bar work on the inside?
Shipping container bar fleet in action
Last weekend (12th-15th May 2022), our Impact Container Bar was at Higginson Park in Marlow for Pub in the Park food and drink festival with Everleaf, a non-alcoholic aperitif drinks brand.
The Impact Container Bar was branded and styled with a truly premium look. The mobile bar had glass bottles aligning the back wall and an illuminated drinks menu for easy visibility. The bar had an upper deck terrace with a flower wall for customers to relax, take pictures, enjoy their beverages and soak up the atmosphere.

In these behind-the-scenes images of the shipping container bar in action, you can see how our container bar fleet is established to assist with the selling and serving of drinks at events.
Each of our shipping container bars is accessible from the left side of the container. At the front of the container, there's a sophisticated roller shutter system that enables access to the bar and counter when opened. The roller shutter system can be securely locked while in transit or standing idle.

When the roller shutter system is up, the six-metre counter is visible to customers. The counter has two under-counter fridges ideal for storing food and drink. There is also space for storing stock in an easy-to-reach place, ideal for high anticipated footfall and quick turnaround delivery.
Along the back wall is a six-metre back bar with cupboards and shelving ideal for hiding additional stock and unsightly equipment out of sight. Here is a working sink for water supply and the washing of equipment.
Integrated with lighting and electrics, our shipping container bar fleet is the perfect environment to serve, engage and sell to customers.
We currently have five shipping container mobile bar options to choose from: Container Bar, Container Bar Plus, Impact Container Bar, Impact Plus Container Bar and Impact Premium Container Bar.
All shipping container bars are available for both short- and long-term hire. For more information on any of our pop-up container bars for festivals or outdoor events, contact us today on (0161) 821 1010.
