The idea of CarFest sprung from the incredibly creative mind of Chris Evans, the esteemed BBC Radio 2 presenter and former Top Gear host. Evans came up with CarFest as a way to raise money for Children in Need, while providing an action-packed weekend of entertainment that could be enjoyed by the whole family. From steam fairs to mainstage music, CarFest was filled with exciting activities and fun things to do over the festival.
The event has grown exponentially since it was first launched, partly due to the fascination for cars and mechanical engineering and partly due to the amazing array of family-friendly activities taking place over the weekends. With festivals becoming increasingly saturated in 2017, CarFest continues to be a standalone presence on the calendar - with two events, north and south, taking place in Cheshire and Hampshire respectively.

For CarFest, our shipping container conversions were the perfect pop-up structure - able to arrive onsite and be ready in the space of an hour. We provided two Gallery customised containers in matt black - which provided the perfect space internally for merchandising, while offering amazing branding opportunities to the exterior with an overhead sign to entice the public. In addition, the electric roller shutter provided a quick but secure way of having a large and attractive open frontage.
