Boardmasters Festival is Cornwall's own surf and music festival, based across two sites in Watergate Bay, Newquay. This year, the five-day event (Wednesday 10th - Sunday 14th August 2022) saw George Ezra, Disclosure, Kings of Leon and more world-class artists perform across ten stages.
Beyond the music, festival-goers had the opportunity to sign up for Surf and Adventure, for surfing lessons with local schools, catering to all surfing abilities. Coasteering, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and snorkel SUP safari were available too.
At the festival was The Events Structure, with three client shipping container conversion activations with Sperry and White Claw Seltzer Water.
Two activations for Sperry
Sperry, the iconic boat show brand, made its debut at Boardmasters Festival 2022 with two shipping container conversion activations.
Located on Fistral Beach, Sperry turned a Gallery customised container into a retail outlet, showcasing their latest SeaCycled collection.
Back at Watergate Bay, Sperry hosted a water bar, handing out water to festival-goers from one of our multi-deck Impact Premium shipping container conversions. The upper deck allowed customers to soak up the sea breeze and festival vibes, while admiring beautiful beach views.
The sheltered roof of the Impact Premium customised container provided a much-needed shaded haven from the hot heatwave temperatures.
White Claw mobile bar activation
Labelled the "White Claw Shore Club", White Claw handed out their alcoholic seltzer water beverage to festival goers from one of our shipping container mobile bars, Container Bar.
As part of a collaboration to showcase sustainability, Eco board creator and founder of Eco by Ry, Ryan Harris, made three surfboards using recycled materials over the festival period, live from the shipping container bar. On the final day of the festival, these surfboards were given away, along with White Claw branded combs made from leftover resin used in glassing the boards.
The collaborative Container Bar activation was branded inside and out for maximum impact.
