Earlier this year, our Apollo roadshow truck medical unit parked up at Worthing Hospital in West Sussex and started its one-year stationary journey as a pop-up health clinic allowing hospital medics to perform cardiac assessments on patients in a bid to detect heart disease and early signs of heart failure.
Since February, the pop-up health clinic has effectively screened many patients, reducing the risk of cardiac arrest in those detected with symptoms by forming a plan of care to prevent the need for future emergency department care.
The innovative pop-up medical unit solution boosts screening capacity per day while providing a reliable facility to keep services running smoothly without disruption.
Unbranded to keep a clinical appearance both inside and out, the Apollo roadshow truck pop-up health clinic has five screening rooms onboard to safeguard confidentiality, a seated waiting room, private staff facilities and a hydraulic kitchen to ensure maximum hygiene levels.
Everything onboard the pop-up health clinic mirrors the Worthing Hospital setting to establish comfort. Large windows and climate control air-conditioning help make the roadshow truck medical unit a more relaxing environment for uneased patients.
The 13.5m Apollo roadshow truck can be accessed by stairs or electric lift, ensuring the pop-up health clinic is accessible to everybody.
Roadshow truck medical unit solutions for healthcare providers
As seen during the pandemic, sometimes healthcare providers require additional facilities to help with the running of their services. A roadshow truck medical unit can deliver care, be transformed into a pop-up clinic or bring health awareness campaigns to patients, on hospital estates or out in the community.
At The Events Structure, we have a wide range of roadshow truck medical units available to suit all clinical environments and support healthcare providers. From agile and adaptable single units to high-capacity multi-unit solutions, all medical units are built to high standards and maintain high specifications.
From the Apollo roadshow truck that has adequate space to support the delivery of multiple healthcare specialities to Warrior that can be set-up quickly and safely to respond to tight schedules, there's a medical unit to support the delivery of every healthcare speciality.
