Lucy & Yak brought their picture-perfect Yak Fest to Camp Bestival in Shropshire Thursday, 18th - Sunday, 21st August and We Out Here festival in Cambridgeshire Thursday, 25th - Sunday, 28th August with help from our multi-deck Impact Premium shipping container conversion.
Founded in 2017 by Lucy Greenwood, with help from Yak motorhome, Lucy & Yak is a clothing line offering comfy, stylish and sustainable dungarees and other clothing garments made from organic and recycled fabrics.
A firm favourite for both 'yakkers' and festival-goers to wear, Lucy & Yak have brought their colourful clothing and Yak Fest to their first three festivals this year, including Camp Bestival and We Out Here with Impact Premium shipping container conversion.
The festival activation fully embodied the brand, while providing the perfect backdrop for Instagram-worthy pictures. Complete with rails of clothing, mirrors, seating and a changing room, everything needed for customers to shop in a relaxing atmosphere.
Up the tiled stairs leading to the "Studio Yak" was a hang-out community space decorated with a flower backdrop reading "Be Real Have Fun", patterned rugs, vibrant seating and branded bunting. Here customers could enjoy views of the festival, soak up the atmosphere and meet other Yakkers.
There was also an opportunity to meet Lucy Greenwood at the festival activation and take a picture in the Yak. Attendees were encouraged to share their images on social media using the hashtag #YakCreator to further their online community reach and for a chance to win a 12-month content creator role.
