Last Thursday (15th August), the award-winning three-day independent festival ArcTanGent returned to Fernhill Farm near Bristol for the seventh year running. The festival delivers some of the best line-ups in experimental and leftfield rock attracting a musical-inclined international audience.
Across the three days, 100+ acts played across five alternating stages on the relatively small compact site, and in the centre of the action was BOSS - a brand recognised by guitarists around the world for their legendary product lineup of compact effect pedals.
Echoing the bold, daring and gritty characteristics of the rock subcultures, BOSS utilised an Impact event shipping container for their activation. Fully branded and painted black, the activation demanded attention. Inside, visitors could trial the world-famous compact pedal before purchasing. The upper deck provided a viewing deck for customers.
A waterproof event structure, the Impact event shipping container creates an opening and inviting atmosphere to engage with audiences. The structure offers an amazing interior and exterior branding opportunity for maximum effect, while the overhead sign and upper deck can be used to entice visitors. In addition, the electric roller shutter creates a large and attractive open frontage, allowing for overnight security.
ArcTanGent was the perfect event to attract the brand’s target audience, and Impact proved to be the ideal structure to deliver the brand’s promotions. By bringing their brand to life through the aesthetics of the event container, BOSS was able to become part of the festival’s conversation and introduce musical-inclined individuals to the BOSS way of life.
