When hosting experiential events, it’s essential to have the right people on-site to meet, greet and manage guests. Event staffing is continuously used for events, to help promote or cater for communicating the brand message. Staffing encompasses individuals such as hostesses, front-of-house, servers, coat checkers, special needs assistants, entertainment staff, customer information agents, and many more.
At The Events Structure, we aim to provide quality event solutions that cover all of our clients’ communication objectives. Recently, we teamed up with Waltham Forrest Council to help them to promote walking and cycling within their community. For this particular event we took a more personal approach and hired local staff familiar to the area to interact with consumers and give them a powerful and long lasting impression of the benefits by walking and cycling around the forest.
With the help of our Gallery customised shipping container conversion, ourselves and Waltham Forrest Council organised a range of activities in the container such as a competition to “Guess the number of calories you burn in an hour of cycling” where each calorie is represented by a ping pong ball, which were on show in a clear box. Additionally, our events staff approached people to get involved in an interactive quiz on two iPads to help raised awareness of the benefits of walking and cycling.
Bet Victor was another experiential event where The Events Structure was tasked to provide event staffing. For this event, people were encouraged to sign up to Bet Victor to receive a free bet from betting on historical TV footage of races. If the individual predicted the correct winner, they would receive a free bet as the winning prize. The highly successful racing event attracted 20,000 people each day the event took place, with The Events Structure incentivising Bet Victors consumers to come and show an interest in historical betting.
The Impact Event Container was the perfect and most suitable container to use for this event, designed to give Bet Victor an affordable investment that had enough space for their consumers to interact with people and get involved with bets. The highly impactful upper deck provided an exceptional environment for photographs to be taken throughout the event. In addition, people chose to dress up as props such as horses and jockey hats, for the chance to win a weekend away to the darts after uploading photographs of themselves in the props to social media accounts using the hashtag #BVGoldCup.
